Meet Elaine:
I have been a foster/resource parent for over 13 years. I am a parent trainer/liaison for a child placing agency. I have gone across the nation to educate myself in the many different parenting styles. Training parents is my passion. I get very energized when I see my parents gain the skills and they say, “I can do this.” My husband, Neil, and I also do therapeutic respite for families and really enjoy watching the child and the parents experience success and grow. We live in the country in central Kansas. We have one homegrown child still at home, three older beautiful children and eight wonderful grandchildren we love to have fun with. We are also home to a pet steer, llama, two pigs, eleven geese, cats and of course our dogs.
